Waialua Chocolate Hawaii
|
Waialua Chocolate Factory workers cutting open the Coco Pods farmed from a 20 acres field near by. The Beans are removed by hand from the Coco Pods and fermented in wooden barrels. Then left in the drying racks till they are ready. The next step happens in a factory off site. The hills around the
waialua sugar mill are planted with coffee and Coco Trees.I think it
is around 20 acers of chocolate in Waialua. If
you are a resident of Hawaii or a visitor this is a fun and of the beaten

If you are looking to get off the beaten path on Oahu this is it. The Chocolate
Factory in the Waialua Sugar Mill on Oahu's famous North Shore should be on
your list. Most people who live on Oahu have no idea 20 acres of Coco Trees are on the
Island and turned into Chocolate. This is not a full on Tour of the Chocolate
Factory more of a sneek peek behind the scenes of a Chocolate proccessing
plant.
